Wowee! The internet!
This is the first time I've successfully jacked someone else's wireless connection in my dorm room. These days I have been searching for suitable activities sans internet, and this has resulted in two books of short stories because of my horrifying proximity to Strand bookstore. I would also be terrified of Forbidden Planet, if I had any money left but I don't so I am safe thusfar.
Is anyone reading Batgirl? Because Oracle is turning into such a hag fo'serious.
“…Behind her a silver tree flowered in the lemon wallpaper. He remained standing.
‘Betty the Buddha,’ he said. ‘Betty the Buddha. You have the smug smile; all you need is the pot belly.’ ”
((West, Nathanael; Miss Lonelyhearts & The Day of the Locust; 80 Eighth Avenue, New York 10011: New Directions Publishing Corporation, 1933): page 12.)
"On that day I had just gotten my big red beautiful toy telephone...
You spoke with a ghastly voice into the receiver. 'Hello, is this Mr. Ghoul?'
I was angry now. I didn't want to call the Devil on my telephone."
(Naishan, Cheng; "Mountains Green and the Shining Stream," Short Story International, No. 79 (1990): page 12.)
I also, sort of, chopped my hair in a mohawk.
There is so much else to say, that I can't or won't or am to tired to transcribe, here. Yeah I swear the rest of the French photos will follow quickly enough.
Art to follow, lots for Kat and housewarming. Pax.
